Jim & Nicola

Both brought up in Argyll, our early twenties were spent in the sprawling metropolis of Glasgow before we rediscovered our appreciation for the stunning west coast landscape. A few wee stints spent independently in various European cities and Australia further cemented a love for home and gave us a few ideas on what people wanted (or didn't want) when on holiday. Our background is rather diverse with the main focus on electrical engineering, languages and tourism. We plucked ourselves out of our comfort zone in 2004 and made the move to Appin where Nicola set up an award-winning cafe with her sister Laura and Jim set about overhauling a local information centre and shop. Our heart and soul is put into ecopod and will ensure a memorable and feel-good stay for our clients.

There is nothing we know more about than our local area and indeed Scotland. Whenever we have visited places, we have always wanted a local to impart their expert knowledge an make sure we have a fantastic time. This is what we really want to achieve with ecopod. It's not simply a case of booking accommodation. We will do the research and give you all the information you need to ensure you see those hidden gems and taste the best the west coast has to offer.
